Professor at the Departament of Visual Arts and the Postgraduate Arts Program of the Institute of Arts at the University of Brasilia, where he leads a research group in Comntemporary Poetics of the Inner House.

Postdoctoral in Installation and Performance at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts – Tufts University, Boston; PhD and Master in Visual Artes at Columbia University, New York; Fulbright Scholar: School of Visual Arts, New York and Degree in Design: ESDI/UERJ, Rio de Janeiro.
Invited into the School of Visual Arts, Penn State University, 2002, and the Universidad of Aveiro, Portugal. Chosen for the 2010 PIPA award , Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro, y member of the selection committee for the 2011 PIPA awards, Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro.
